♥I had a dream last night that I was part of some sort of minority group in a really horrible world where my people were hated and I was like trying to pretend I was part of the non-hunted people but I was found out and this guy was dragging me around and I kept escaping and he kept holding a like... razor blade in a pen to my throat and I was like "bitch plz" and eventually I got possession of the razor blade pen thing and I think he fell in love with me? I have no idea.

Basically, I just love how no matter what I'm dreaming about, DreamIvy is never fazed. Hold a knife to her throat and she's like "Okay." She just DOES NOT CARE. It's like she knows it's just a dream and there's no way to actually hurt her. SHE IS SO BADASS.

♥Also, CAN I PLEASE HAVE A MONSTER HIGH DOLL. I want a Draculaura pretty much more than I want to breathe. Then after I get her I want a Frankie and then a Lagoona and then maybe one of the two newer ones. But basically I want all of them. They can chill with my Sailor Moon dolls. Sailor Moon and Draculaura would be bffs.
I've been watching the cartoon webseries (STFU) and the characters are just so perfect I can't stand myself. I like how Draculaura is shorter than everyone else but isn't treated like a little kid. I like how one of the guys is a creep and IS CALLED OUT ON HIS CREEPARIFIC STALKER WAYS. Like, the girls don't like it, don't think it's flattering, and don't make each other like it. And the other guy characters think he's creepy too! They're not like LOL WAY TO GO DUDE. Nope. I JUST LOVE THESE STUPID CHARACTERS OKAY LEAVE ME ALONE.

I mean sure I have no wedding date or actual engagement, but I'M ALLOWED TO DREAM OKAY. I think I want pink carnations, ivy, and maybe roses? But probably just carnations and ivy.

I also really want a replica of the engagement ring. I DON'T KNOW WHY. I love tacky shit, I guess.

THREE new-old Kylie tracks leaked today from the demo sessions of her last album, X (which is also my favorite album). There's an infamous set of 3 CDRs with 49 demos (some of which ended up on the album) that Kylie fans have been DYING to get their hands on. Including me. One of the songs surfaced as a remix (Sexual Gold) but we've never had any of the demos unremixed, so I'm so excited to hear them (haven't yet because mama is still awake and it's rude to sit here with headphones.)

I wanted them to get married first, not because omgz out of wedlock~!1 but because a wedding would be gorgeous and full of celebrities and I just love weddings.

I hope she names the kid something normal. She and Kylie have a nephew (the one Kylie recorded a song with the Wiggles for) and I can't wait to see what this one is called. AKKASH I bet Dannii will be such a cute pregnant lady!

...did I seriously just fix my computer? Is it fixed now? Have I been in tears over nothing?

Let's backtrack: a few weeks ago (a month ago? I don't even remember) computer would turn on, the monitor button would turn green... and then turn orange. From past experience (aka THE LAST FREAKING TIME) I knew that this was the graphics card. After my mother called India for tech support and they HUNG UP ON HER, I did what I knew could be done, and unplugged the monitor from the graphics card and hooked it up to the integrated graphics card. Voila, problem (sorta) solved. Obvs, integrated graphics cards are kind of shitty. That's why computers ship with shiny new nvidia cards. But since even The Sims 2 ran fine with the integrated card, I wasn't too worried about it. Eventually mama called for someone to come put a new one in (after all, the integrated card was making things a bit laggy) and someone showed up, put a new card in, left, and then I got... lines on the screen. Pixelly weird lines on the screen. Then it tried to go to screen saver (cute bubbles) and suddenly decided this was all too much and it had to shut itself down. Naturally when a new graphics card is installed and things go horribly wrong, you panic. Mama called Dell Guy and he came right back and spent HOURS here, apparently getting nothing accomplished. He was kind of dumb, but whatever. He gave us a new motherboard too. Apparently they're related, idk.

But the lines and the shutting itself down got worse (at one point things were turning BRIGHT NEON GREEN, what the hell, and it wasn't just a green tint- it was just BLOCKS OF NEON GREEN, WHAT THE HELL, which weren't my system colors because we have pink, so who even knows what that was all about) and random programs kept announcing they were crashing before it would just shut itself down after flashing a blue screen full of text I'd dearly love to have read if it hadn't gone away so quickly (EVERY SINGLE TIME IT GOES AWAY BEFORE I FINISH READING THE FIRST LINE. GAHHH.) After messing with some bios settings (I was trying to get it to let me override the new card and use the integrated card again, because it wouldn't let me while the new card was still installed and I couldn't get it out because I'm scared of breaking things, but apparently it lied to me about those settings so whatever) so finally I opened the thing up and pushed on the card a bit and now it work-

I've got most of my folder backed up, I just need to do Kylie, but the thing won't stay not-shut-down long enough for me to get 30+ gigs loaded. Plus our family pictures folder (VERY IMPORTANT), and some stuff in the documents folder, and our favorites, and... oh, shit. WHY ME. What have I done to displease the computer gods? I love this computer more than lots of people. I take good care of her, she's my baby and I love her. I keep my virus and spyware protection up to date. I try to clean the registry. I back up stuff instead of clogging her up. I delete programs that suck and I don't need. I don't go to suspect websites.

All of this comes on the heels of losing half of my sims due to a crash while it was saving my neighborhood folder. I had to use an old backup and do some weird finagling with cheat programs to put things right again, and I was in tears because I was afraid something had happened to my very favorite sim Anna, who again I love more than lots of people. She's also prettier than most people, js.

COMPUTER, WHY U HATE ME THO?

Sigh :( Talk about epic techno hissyfits.

So my birthday was Tuesday. It was fine. My mother was sick from the painkillers and couldn't come out with me :( So I just had Chili's with my father and boyfriend.

Thanksgiving was also fine. No mama again, but other family and since I have a cool family, it was all good.

I got an expensive ring (eeeek) and some clothes from my parents, and nail polish and The Sims 2 from my boyfriend. It is the most boring game EVER and at the same time THE GREATEST THING IN LIFE. Seriously, it's so weird. I already found out how to cheat and give them lots of money because I'm tired of the tiny houses they live in and one of them wants a stereo and I needed moneyz for that, so I cheated. I've only played two days in a row though. Will work more on them tonight. I also discovered that you can make rainbows go all over the place, so the neighborhood (I moved them the hell out of the stupid game-created neighborhoods full of dumbass annoying sims) is very colorful. Tonight I move them to their new big houses and hopefully they don't lose their jobs again. And I'll buy them loads of cool stuff too.

Aaaand... that's about it.

So I'm still coughing here and there after my epic fight against my very first single-lung bronchitis. I've just taken my second-to-last prednisone.
All week I've had insane food cravings... no food in particular, just anything at all edible. I've been packing away the ingestibles like I'm gearing up for winter. I'm serious... food has been so appealing and delicious all week. I've been having excited, thrilled reactions to everything I've eaten, and I've eaten more than usual at each meal. I ate leftover chili every night, Boyfriend took me to Chili's for the epically wonderful 2 for 20 deal (OH GOD SO MUCH FOOD. SO MUCH. APPETIZER, 2 FULL SIZE ENTREES, AND FULL SIZE DESSERT [molten chocolate caaaaake] IT IS SUCH A GOOD DEAL) and I've also been to Ruby Tuesday's, where I was the first to finish (I scarfed their amazing parmesean chicken pasta. SO GOOD OH MY GOD). I've also eaten a bag of orange chicken (those meals are supposed to be for at least two... I ate one by myself. With a huge salad. I think it was Contessa brand? I kind of burned the chicken but it was seriously amazingly good, omg)
Tonight I had loads of salad, two fat burgers, and a baked potato and then ate every snack and dessert I could find in the house.

I'm pretty sure it's the prednisone, because corticosteroids can give you an increased appetite and I've been starving like a wolf since I started taking it last week. In fact, last night I googled "increased appetite" and "corticosteroid use" came up, which made sense as I have some other symptoms (hyperactivity and a puffy face) so I figure it's what's making me eat like a pig. Right now I'm sitting next to a pile of pistachio nut shells.

I'm sad it's made my face puffy (although no one else has noticed, my mother says she sees nothing and Boyfriend insists I'm seeing things, but I've been looking like a chipmunk for a week. A hungry chipmunk).

Prednisone has some crazy dosing schedules, as well. You take four pills for four days (I split them up two at a time, because it can give you the shakes) then three for three, two for two, and one for one, I'm guessing because it's bad to just stop taking it all at once? I have no idea.

I think it's also been the reason I haven't had a headache since I started taking it, since I read last night it can be used to treat migraines (and can also cause them).

But srsly I love foooood. I still have a food love affair even when I'm not on drugz and I refuse to feel ashamed. Human beings need calories, and there's no reason we shouldn't enjoy ourselves. I'm not going to go overboard and become an obese whale, but I'm also not going to spaz over some extra pounds, because I'd rather have extra pounds and fries and lasagna then be skinny and have no delicious food.

Oh, I almost forgot, yesterday I ate a mini molten chocolate cake from Wal*Mart (Great Value brand) that costs I think a dollar and is in the frozen section and is ALMOST as good as the one from Chili's. The chocolate sauce isn't as good and it doesn't come with Chili's super good ice cream (or any at all, for that matter) but for a dollar, it is superb and comes with my recommendation. Delicious.

I'ma go now before I ramble more about how much I love food. Because I do. A lot.
